MEET THE TEAM

Established by student affairs professionals, Food for Thought is a campaign created in La Crosse, WI to acknowledge and bring awareness to food insecurity on college campuses. Although it is an issue nationwide, food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses today. It impacts student in more ways than one, and can have negative effects on both academic performance and mental health.  Because we care about students as a whole, we strive to educate students, professionals, and community members on what food insecurity is, what causes food insecurity, and how it impacts students. We also connect students to local and state resources along with sharing financial facts, tips, and tricks to encourage healthy money management

You can find us tabling at campus and community events as well as running food drives to donate to the cause.
